Möbius Ant's Orange Confession
Today I'm a small ant. Two days ago someone gently placed me on a Möbius strip1. Later I found out it was made of litmus paper2. Yesterday I spilled coffee. The floor turned orange. I cleaned it up and moved on. After a day of wandering, reading Polish-German dictionaries, asking investors for sugar factory money, I met another small ant. 'Did you see that orange thing? That mandarin-colored spot?' she asked. Being a lying ant, I said no, I hadn't.
1 Möbius strip: A one-sided surface discovered in 1858. An ant walking on it would traverse both "sides" without crossing an edge—a metaphor for circular logic and inescapable loops.
2 Litmus paper: pH indicator paper that changes color (red for acid, blue for base). Here it turns orange from coffee—revealing truth through chemical reaction.
